Pastor Carol Woodard was recently appointed as Senior Pastor of Across All Boundaries Christian Church and Outreach Ministries in Columbia, South Carolina. She is affectionately called “Rabbi” by many at the church and the Christian community because of her gifting and commitment to the teaching ministry.
Carol graduated from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2010, with a Master’s Degree in Divinity. She was instrumental in starting Crossing Boundaries School of Ministry where she serves in dual roles of Administrator and Instructor. Crossing Boundaries is a local Bible College in partnership with Oral Roberts University.

Carol was licensed as a gospel minister in September 2003 by Bishop Sheldon Hudson and was ordained as an elder in January 2007 by Kingdom Life Fellowship of Anderson, S.C. She has worked in many areas of church ministry including but not limited to Christian Education, Prayer Ministry, Women’s Ministry, Children, and Youth Ministry, Senior Care Ministry, Event Planning, and Church Administration. But she has found that her gift and passion is educating God’s people with the word of God and encouraging them to continue to “grow up” in God.

 

She released her first book, Get a Grip, in April 2019 with plans to build on this dynamic project. Before her retirement in 2018, Carol enjoyed a successful career in state government as a human resource professional. She has volunteered with many organizations focusing on the needs of women and young ladies: volunteering as a literacy tutor, big sister, and juvenile arbitrator. She has been a licensed foster parent, opening her heart and home to young girls in need of a safe and positive living environment. Carol currently lives in Ridgeway SC, not far from her childhood home. She has a large, loving, and supportive family of sisters and brothers and other extended family members. She is called “auntie” by many nieces and nephews, both naturally and of the heart. One of her favorite scriptural verses for this season is “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
