We Believe in GOD The Father Almighty, The Creator of Heaven and Earth.
The God of the Christian faith is: The God of Genesis 1:1, ―In the beginning God…."
The God who created the heavens and the earth and who created mankind—male and female & blessed them and instructed them to multiply and increase. (Genesis 1:26-28)
The Lord Himself is God; there is none other besides Himself...there is no other.
“Then God said, "let us make man in our image." (Genesis 1:26)
"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" (Isaiah 6:8a )
We Believe in Jesus Christ, GOD's only Son; Our Lord.
Jesus is God’s only begotten Son. (John 3:16)
He was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of the Virgin Mary (Luke 2:30-35)
He was baptized in the Jordan River (Luke 3:21-22), tempted by the devil and surpassed the temptations (Luke 4:1-14)
He ministered to those around him and preached the gospel of the Kingdom; healing all kinds of sicknesses and diseases (Matthew 4:23)
He suffered indescribable torture and endured great pain authorized by Pontius Pilate.
(Matthew 27:2, 11-14)
He was crucified, died, and was buried. (Matthew 27:45-65)
We believe in the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is present at salvation
a. Baptizing the believer into the body of Christ (receiving them into the family of God) (1 Corinthians 12:13);
b. Indwelling the believer’s spirits or hearts (1 Corinthians 3:16)
The Holy Spirit is present in the daily life of a believer
a. Sanctifying / transforming (2 Corinthians 3:18)
b. Helping, counseling, comforting (John 14:16-17)
The Holy Spirit is also present with special works
a. Calling to a special ministry (Acts 13:2-4)
b. Imparting power; (Acts 1:5-8)
We believe in the Bible, GOD's Holy Word.
2 Timothy 3:16–17. The Apostle Paul taught how the scriptures bless our lives. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
We Believe that all Mankind was created by GOD in HIS image and after HIS likeness.
Man was created in the Image of God:
When God created man in His image, man reflects what or who God is like, His attributes, His reflection includes:
Personality: Ability to reason, think, and choose
Authority: God has the ultimate authority over all things and God gave man an authority to rule and dominate the earth and nature. (Gen 1:28-29)
Creativity: God gave man ability to create. Man can create and procreate.
Moral character: Ability to choose between right and wrong, good and evil.
Man was created as a three-part being (Body, Soul, Spirit)
Body: Natural/physical body that houses the spirit and soul.(Gen 2:7)
Soul: ability to reason and think (mind), ability to feel (emotions), and ability to decide (will) (Rev 6:9, Hebrew 12:23)
Spirit: the human spirit inside man that connects with God (1 Cor 2:11)
We believe that JESUS is the only way to the Father.
Once an individual accepts salvation, God considers them in right standing with Him and because of that renewed relationship with Him, they have all of the benefits of the Kingdom of God. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)
We believe in the Holy Christian Church.
The Church (Universal) – The Body of Christ
Ecclesia - the called out ones into fellowship with Christ and other believers.
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation… called out of darkness into His marvelous light." (I Peter 2:9 NKJV)
The Church (Local) – Congregation/Assembly
The church is people, not buildings. Church membership is a divinely established covenant. It involves a commitment of members to be identified and involved with a local assembly whose members has made the decision to worship together with other believers in a certain place under the authority of Jesus Christ.
The End Times
We believe that JESUS shall return to judge the living and the dead.
Death and Life After Death (Eternal Destinations)
All men have this in common, death. This means that every human can expect that his natural body will separate from his soul, his spirit will return to God and life on earth as now known will end. But, after earthly death there is another life.
"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27 NKJV)
Matthew 25:31-46 explains that when Jesus returns to earth (2nd coming) in all his splendor and sits on his seat of judgment, he shall separate those who belong to him from those who have not accepted him. And the eternal destination will be given.
2 Corinthians 5: 10 ―For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
