PROVIDING FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN TRANSITION AND FACING LIFE CHANGING CHALLENGES
The Vision
Housing
This property is 4 country acres in rural South Carolina owned by AAB, It has been designated to assist women and children who are in transition and/or facing changing challenges, This could include single mothers who find themselves unemployed, single mothers who have lost housing or in the process of changing careers.
Life Skills
The location will not only serve as a place for women to stay with their children, but also provide life skills development. The program will also offer classes on cooking, cleaning and child rearing, to name a few. The land will eventually be developed as a working farm, where the residents will learn to grow their own food.
Education
The Whole Life Enabling Center will aiding the development of the women in the program. It will provide a number of re-education opportunities, including GED programs. It will also provided opportunities to develop essential skills needed for professional development to include communication & social skills.
